Product Review: La Belle Naturelle

When stumbling on instagram, I came across a page filled with fresh, natural, & made to order products.  Anna, from La Belle Naturelle, recommended two products that would help with dry skin. We received the Do Not Be Fooled Body Butter Twist in the scent Sweet Romance and the Sangria Red Wine Soap.  Our review is based on our skin type: Brenda has very dry skin and Kelly has normal.

Body Butter twist in the scent Sweet Romance ($12.50):  IMG_0182_3

  • Smells like a sweet lemony citrus scent
  • great for dry spots or can be used all over
  • thick consistency; needs to be rubbed into the skin
  • melts similar to coconut oil
  • leaves a waxy feel to the skin (if you’re not a fan, this product might not be for you– all my dry sisters, you’ll love it!)
  • good for an overnight treatment
  • long lasting on the skin

Sangria Red Wine Soap ($7.75):

  • Use as you would a regular soap
  • I’m not a huge fan of bar soap, since they tend to be drying yet this one was bearable.
  • Scent has a hint of red wine (Cheers, my red wine fans 🍷) Yet there isn’t a red wine scent afterwards
  • left the skin feeling clean.
  • More suitable for normal skin rather than dry
  • does not foam
  • feels a tad sticky during use
  • lasts as long as you do not keep it in an area where it is constantly in water

Overall, these two handcrafted products were fun to try. The body butter really helped with dry areas. To add, the prices are reasonable.  This business has many other intriguing items  that we look forward to purchasing.
